About Lisa Lumsden

In perfecting her craft, Lisa Lumsden has worked with some of Australia’s finest bespoke shoe makers. She studied Custom Made Footwear at TAFE College, Marleston, South Australia; the only course of its kind in the country. During her studentship she studied the Italian Lunati Method of pattern making, as introduced to Australia by Simon O’Mallon.

Subsequently Lisa Lumsden went on to work with Eugenia Neave; recognised as one of South Australia’s most respected bespoke shoe makers. Eugenia herself studied under the internationally renowned Master Shoe Makers, George Koleff and Tim Skyrme.

The quest for knowledge has also taken Lisa Lumsden to some of Europe’s best known shoe manufacturing locations including the cities of Paris, France and Barcelona and Alicante in Spain. Here she has sourced many of the beautiful materials that she uses today as well as learning all about the process of shoe design and construction in the rapidly progressive world of the European fashion industry.
